My Story

At the age of eleven, my sister and I decided to try golf. Right away, I loved the sport, but who would have guessed that golf would one day become my profession. At the age of 15, I made it to the national team, which gave me the opportunity to get experience playing all over Europe and the States. When I started high school, I found out about a great opportunity to play golf and study at a boarding school held by the Swedish Golf Federation. Since, Swedish is my other first language, besides Finnish, I did not think too long before I decided to move to Sweden. Studying there seemed like a great opportunity to help me pursue my dream of becoming a professional golfer amongst some of the best Swedish players. The experience of living on my own and practicing in an elite environment was hard but very rewarding. After high school, college felt like a natural step, since my game needed further improvement, before being on a high enough level to hold the professional standards. I decided to attend Tulane University for four years, where I graduated cum laude with a degree in Business. I double majored in Management and Marketing. I was a three time Academic All American. I graduated in June of 2016.
